No meal is complete without the presence of desserts. Its the thing that completes our happy soul, bringing you pleasures and inner feeling of content. Its not a secret to everyone that I love desserts, especially ice cream. I went to try so many desserts, but these are the place that I always want to go over and over. Take note that they are not ranked in order.
1. Oma's Spoon

Not an ordinary bingsu that used water for shavings, Oma's spoon used milk shavings. Nobody could resists the texture of finely-shaved milk ice, and the instantaneous melt-in-your-mouth effect. Feels like eating snow, eh?
Served with small glasses of condensed milk, everyone loves the opportunity of pouring milk shot for Instagram. However, taste your bingsu before pouring the condensed milk, because you don't want your bingsu to end up too sweet.
Oma's spoon offers a wide range of flavours. I have tried most of it, and I still could not decide which one is my favourite. I love all of them equally. In terms of price, I find it quite expensive, as the price ranges from approximately $12 - $19. As for the portion, I feel that they serve you a sizeable amount of bingsu, large enough to be shared between two to three people. However, if you have no one to share with, they also offer petit bingsu ($4.90), and if you want additional topping of your choice (pat/injeolmi/oreo/mango/green tea), you can pay additional $0.9 ($5.8).

2. Sunday Folks

I bet Sunday Folks is no longer a stranger to cafe hoppers. Well, no one can say no to this swirled soft serve ice cream accompanied by a stack of two waffles. Instagram worthy enough?
Sunday Folks offer six different types of soft serve flavours: Roasted Pistachio, Earl Grey Lavender, Summer Strawberries, Madagascar Vanilla, Dark Chocolate, and Sea Salt Gula Melaka. If you order a soft serve with two stacked waffles, it will cost you $11.80, but if you think that its too much, you may opt for the petite size served with single waffle, that will cost you around $8.80.
What I ordered: Roasted Pistachio Soft Serve, with blueberries, caramelized crunch and dango. Can you resist the temptation?

3. Cake Spade

I really love the pink interior of this cake shop. If you are going to Tanjong Pagar area, you definitely need to stop by and grab some cake. I love how soft the cake is, and surprisingly, this is not as sweet as I thought it would be. I never really love cakes, but this is an exception.
